We're looking for people, teams, entrepreneurs, businesses, and organisations in the community who have ideas that will tackle the challenges of getting older and make positive social change for older people.

What if there were different ways for people to volunteer that draws on their unique skills and talents?

Speaking Exchange connects older adults in retirement villages with Brazilian students learning english, giving them the opportunity to practice their english with a native speaker and creating new friendships.

What if there were different ways for people to utilise their skills and connect with their community?

NANA is a comfort food and craft cafe hosted by lovely older ladies from the local area. They serve up traditional, home-cooked favourites in a local cafe for people of all ages. 

What if there were new kinds of work for people in their 60s and beyond?

It’s estimated that 2 million Australians 60 and over want to work and the cost of not using their skills is $10.8 billion a year. What could you create to support more elderpreneurs to thrive?
